This type of system has been used by Bauer Foundation on 1000’s of projects throughout the southeast. In the sandy soil areas, the shafts can be installed using a slurry system to stabilize the excavations. Drilled shafts are typically used to carry structures with very high axial, lateral, and/or moment loads on projects such as bridges, tall buildings, towers and heavy equipment that may have dynamic loads. |
