Riverboat Tower is an office building and attached parking structure for the Carolina Panthers professional football organization located adjacent to the current Panther Stadium (Bank of America Stadium). The project consisted of drilled shafts including overburden drilling and rock sockets.

Bauer completed a total of 118 shafts of  multiple diameters including 84"' 72"' 60"' 54"' 48"' 36" and 30". The project was fast tracked from preparation with a lead-in/mobilization time of only two weeks and the utilization of two drill rigs on a very small site: one BG 40 and one BG 28. This required careful coordina project included 625 cy of soild excavation and 286 cy of rock excavation. In addition to the drilled shafts works, Bauer completed 39 rock anchors with a Klemm drill rig. These anchors consisted of 2.5" diameter all-thread anchors grouted into 21' deep rock sockets through the completed drilled shafts. 8" diameter steel sleeves were cast into the shafts to allow the drilling of the anchors without the need to drill through the shaft.
